Matthew Southam : Ski Manager & Head Ski Coach
Now at the age of 32 Matthew has gained immense respect in the skiing world and has become a professional instructor who is internationally renowned.
He teaches various National Teams in all disciplines and competes and coaches alongside the world’s best skiers. With a current PB of 2 buoys at 10.25 meters.
Matthew started skiing at the age of 8 and went on to become a member of the British Water Ski Team at the age of 10. His achievements are many with numerous national titles at junior and senior levels and have previously gained him a ranking of 7th in the World.
Matthews’s popularity is due to his relaxed and patient coaching style and he is happy coaching all levels from beginners to pros. He also speaks fluent Spanish for our Spanish skiers. |

Andres Alijo: Wakeboard Manager & Head Wakeboard Coach
Nationally renowned Spanish rider and coach who is rapidly gaining respect throughout Europe for being a great coach for all levels of riders. With a no nonsense, thorough approach. Andres originally from Seville is fluent in English and can be relied on to add humor to any day. Andres is also a qualified Physiotherapist. |

Debbie Southam: Site Manager & Administration
Debbie is responsible for all day to day running of the site and all administration. She is the person that will make all booking arrangements for you to ensure your trip organization goes smoothly. |

Andrew Eddie (Ed): Ski & Wakeboard Coach
Ed this year has taken over as site manager however he is still seen in both boats serving up some great coaching for wakeskate, wakeboard & ski. Ed now sponsored by Protest Clothing prefers his wakeskate as his weapon of choice but can still occasionally be seen on his wakeboard and maybe even ski ! |

Gill having moved to Spain to escape the UK weather now helps part time with the team. Gill is also renowned for her fantastic culinary skills should you be lucky enough to sample her cooking. She is also mainly seen socializing in town with our customers and responsible for many a hangover the following day!!! |

Matt Crowhurst: Part Time Pro Wakeboard Coach
Matt Crowhurst has been an important part of the team from day one at Xtreme Gene, although due to competition commitments he can only be here part time, hence please see news section on web site to find out his dates in Spain. Matt Crowhurst is a professional rider and coach with numerous European titles. While Matt is here he spends the days providing Professional coaching to all levels and the nights in the numerous bars & local club reeking havoc! |
