Below are the accommodation options, first shown are those included in the set prices from lake side cabins and apartments in town to local hotels. Following these are other options available and prices for these are on request.

When making a booking you simply request:

Then when booking you will be advised which is available based on what suits your needs best, or if you have stayed with us previously and have a preference of which apartment then please state this when booking. For example groups of 4 or more wanting an apartment will automatically be offered the 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment.

In addition to the accommodation included in set prices there are a number of other options from rural guest houses to villas, these are shown further down the list.

Lake-side Log Cabins

Situated on ski site

On site we have 4 log cabins to rent situated in beautiful surroundings next to the lake, they sleep 2 - 4 people (4 bed cabins are bunk beds). All cabins have electricity, wardrobes and mirrors and use of shared showers and toilets. On site there is also a cafe providing breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks.

The prices are per cabin and include breakfast and tea & coffee all day.

Boutique Guest House in Almodovar

Almudawar : Highly Recommended

This is a new guest house conveniently located in Almodovar Del Rio town center. It is a typical Spanish house cleverly restored with a Moroccan twist. It has 10 bedrooms and all rooms have air conditioning, TV with English channels and en suite bathrooms. Guests have use of the indoor patio and roof terrace. There is also a dining room and small lounge with internet connection. They offer drinks to guests in the evening plus snacks. Prices include breakfast which can be cooked or continental. It is owned and managed by a friendly Spanish couple who speak good English. This is highly recommended by us and is also great value for money based on low prices they are offering in their first year.

Also there is a luxury double available for an additional 10.70 Euro per night.

Casa Southam (Matt & Debbie's)

This accommodation is in a beautiful reformed Spanish house where Matt & Debbie live. The house is built around a typical indoor Spanish courtyard and customer rooms are located at the front of the house away from the owners accommodation and all have private bathrooms.

Salones Joki

This is situated in the center of town (Almodovar Del Rio) 5 mins drive from the lake. It is a new development of accommodation only. All rooms are en suite with air conditioning / heating and television. The rooms are small but comfortable. There is a patisserie 3 min walk down the hill for breakfast and a drink machine on site. This is obviously very convenient for shops and bars / restaurants and means you would not have to drive in the evenings.

2 Bedroom Flat in Almodovar Del Rio

This is a lovely Spanish flat in the center of town (Almodovar Del Rio), which is 5 mins drive from the lake. The flat is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin and 1 family bathroom / dining & lounge / fully fitted kitchen / lovely roof terrace and heating & air-conditioning. The terrace has seating and amazing views to the castle. This is obviously very convenient for shops and bars / restaurants and means you would not have to drive in the evenings.

4 Bedroom Flat in Almodovar Del Rio

This is a lovely new build Spanish flat in the center of town (Almodovar Del Rio), which is 5 mins drive from the lake. The flat is fully furnished with 4 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin and 2 singles (with possibility of additional beds in these rooms) 2 bathrooms / dining & lounge / fully fitted kitchen / lovely roof terrace and heating & air-conditioning. The terrace has seating and great views over a small park and up to the castle. This is also convenient for shops and bars / restaurants and means you would not have to drive in the evenings. All bed linen is provided.

3 Bedroom house in Almodovar Del Rio

This is a fairly new build semi detached town house in a small complex in the center of town (Almodovar Del Rio), which is 5 mins drive from the lake. The house is fully furnished with 3 bedrooms: 1 double and 2 twin and 1 family bathroom / additional shower on top floor to terrace / downstairs loo / dining & lounge / fully fitted kitchen / amazing roof terrace with views up to the castle and down to Cordoba and heating & air-conditioning. The terrace has seating and BBQ. The complex also has a small communal pool. This is obviously very convenient for shops and bars / restaurants and means you would not have to drive in the evenings.

Finca El Juncal Guest house in Posadas

A good place to stay for people who like to wake up in silence, start the day with a dive in the pool and enjoy breakfast. It is a guesthouse run by a friendly Dutch couple who are very hospitable and who speak English.

Finca El Juncal is an Andalusian farm, refurbished as a bed and breakfast with 5 double and 2 single bedrooms, a lounge room, a huge garden with a swimming pool of 6 by 17 meters. It is situated in a valley nearby the village Posadas. It is 15 minutes drive to the lake, 2 minutes to the centre of Posadas, 10 minutes to the centre of Almodovar and 20 minutes to the great city Cordoba.

Please note bathrooms are shared and It does not have air conditioned rooms but this does not seem to be an issue with other customers. Information on : www.fincaeljuncal.com

45 Euros a night for a double, incl. breakfast

If there more than 5 nights the 6th night is free.

Villa “El Olmo”

This is a large villa situated just near the natural park in Posadas so is about a 15 minute drive from the lake. The villa sleeps 11 people. The house consists of: Large lounge, fully fitted kitchen plus outside kitchen and BBQ area. 1 x Double Room / 1 x twin / 1 x triple / 1 x 4 beds. Plus 3 bathrooms. It also has a lovely outside area / garden and private pool.

Villa “El Naranjal”

This is a 4 bedroom villa situated just near the natural park in Posadas so is about a 15 minute drive from the lake. The villa sleeps 8 people. The house consists of: Small lounge, fully fitted kitchen plus outside kitchen and terrace and BBQ area. 2 x Double Room / 2 x twins. Plus 2 bathrooms. It also has a lovely outside area / garden and private pool.

Rivero Rural

This is a lovely large property that works great for large groups as have plenty of rooms and a private pool. It is situated just outside Posadas so is a short drive to local amenities and about 15 min drive from the lake.

Beautiful 5 bedroom house in Posadas

This is a beautifully presented typical Spanish town house only recently finished to a very high standard in Cordobean style and is recommended highly by us. It has 2 x double bedrooms / 2 x twin bedrooms and 1 x single room / 3 bathrooms / lounge & dining room and fully fitted kitchen. It also has central heating a stunning patio with small plunge pool. It is situated in the heart of Posadasís town so you can walk to the bars and restaurants. It is 10 min drive to the lake and the other town Almodovar Del Rio which also has plenty more bars and restaurants. You can see some pictures on their web site; it is in Spanish but will give you a good idea of the house. All reservations can be made through us. You do need a minimum of 4 people to rent the house.
