Do I need to book?
Yes it is advised to book as many months get full well in advance especially children's holidays. Also for groups of 6 or more booking a few months in advance is wise.

How do I book accommodation?
Details of the accommodation options available can be found on the web site accommodation section. Once you have chosen where you would like to stay please advise us and we will make the booking for you.
Do I need to book time slots for ski or wakeboard sessions?
No there are no booked time slots these are agreed with the coach on your first day. For skiers we have a dock by both slalom courses and take all skiers that are ready to the dock and they sort out between them who skis. The driver will advise you start times for each day. For the boarders your group times are agreed the day before with the coach and all riders will go out in agreed groups at agreed times.
How do I get to the site?

Do I need a car? Where can I hire a car?
Yes we recommend that you get a car, as the site is 5 min drive from main town where the bars & restaurants are. Also if staying off site then it is imperative to have a car. If you are too young to hire a car we can arrange airport transfers, please see price lists for costs.
How long are the sets?
The sets are 15 mins for wakeboarding and 6 passes for skiing, should you wish to take 20 min sets or 8 passes this is possible and you will be charged pro rata. For full details please see the price list.
Who will be coaching?
Our main coaches are Mathew Southam for skiing and Andres Alijo for Wakeboarding however they are assisted by Ed, Gustav and Matt Crowhurst on certain months of the year. You can find more information on the team and coaches in Meet the team section.
What boats do you use?
Xtreme-Gene is proud to be the Spanish sub dealer for Correct Craft and therefore use all the latest models of Nautique, 196 for skiing and Super Air 210 and 220 for wakeboarding.
What facilities are there at the site?
Log cabins to sleep 2 or 4 to rent / Bar / BBQ / Toilets and Showers / Sun beds / canoes / Volley Ball Court / Pro Shop. But please go to ìFacilities section on web site, under About Xtreme-Gene for further information.
How do I pay?
We ask for a 40% deposit before travel, which can be paid, by transfer or credit card and the final payment is to be made on arrival by cash or credit card. Please be aware that if paying by credit card we need to pass on a 2% charge as given to us by our bank.
What if I have to cancel?
We take a 40% deposit before you travel and this is non refundable. Hence please ensure you take travel insurance at the time of booking.
Can I hire equipment?
If you have your own equipment we do recommend you bring it however we do have all equipment here for use free of charge.
What are the temperatures?
We are lucky to get amazing weather most of the year and therefore ski / ride in shorts the majority of the time. That said March / April & October can be changeable and it is worth checking temperatures before you fly to ensure you pack correctly. The easiest way to do this is via www.weather.com and type in Cordoba, Spain for the city.
Is the site suitable for children?
Yes much of our custom is families and although in addition to the water sports there is only a volleyball court & canoes on site they still manage to amuse them selves spending the majority of time in the water! However for very young babies and children the temperatures in July and August can be difficult.

What insurance or liability cover do you have?
Like all sports those done at Xtreme - Gene incurs risk of injury and all customers participate at their own risk. That said we do have full liability insurance. We do however insist that you take holiday insurance to cover sports. We recommend the following policy (just press on link and it will take you to correct policy), which is a good price and covers waterski & wakeboard (UK residents only).
