It is a typical Spanish house cleverly restored with a Moroccan twist. It has 10 bedrooms and all rooms have air conditioning, TV with English channels and en suite bathrooms. Guests have use of the indoor patio and roof terrace. There is also a dining room and small lounge with internet connection. They offer drinks to guests in the evening plus snacks. Prices include breakfast which can be cooked or continental. It is owned and managed by a friendly Spanish couple who speak good English. All cabins have electricity, wardrobes and mirrors and use of shared showers and toilets. On site there is also a café providing breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks. The accommodation is to a very high standard and more in line with a hotel than a B&B. This old Andalucía town house has been beautifully restored and all rooms have air conditioning / TV with English channels / tea & coffee facilities and en suite bathrooms. Guests have use of the lounge & terrace area and access to an honesty bar. Prices include breakfast comprising of. Fresh juice, cereals, English breakfast, toast, tea or coffee. Yoghurts and fresh fruit are also available. All rooms are en suite with air conditioning / heating and television. The rooms are small but comfortable. There is a patisserie 3 min walk down the hill for breakfast and a drink machine on site. This is obviously very convenient for shops and bars / restaurants and means you would not have to drive in the evenings. The prices are per room: - Double / Twin Room: 47 Euros per night Double with balcony (room 3) 50 Euros per night Single Room: 27 Euros per night (If paying by credit card 7% charge) SAN LUIS HOSTAL ** This hostel is situated 5 mins drive from the lake on the road towards Cordoba. It offers good accommodation for the price. All rooms are en suite with air conditioning / heating and next-door is a bar & restaurant serving very good food. This is convenient for the town, lake etc but you would need to drive from here at night to get into the town where the bars and restaurants are situated, it is only a few minuets drive but not really a route that is suitable for walking. The prices are per room and include mediterranean breakfast: - Double Room: 46 Euros per night Single Room: 26 Euros per night BEAUTIFUL 5 BED HOUSE IN POSADAS This is a beautifully presented typical Spanish town house only recently finished to a very high standard in Cordobean style and is recommended highly by us. It has 2 x double bedrooms / 2 x twin bedrooms and 1 x single room / 3 bathrooms / lounge & dining room and fully fitted kitchen. It also has central heating a stunning patio with small plunge pool. It is situated in the heart of Posadas’s town so you can walk to the bars and restaurants. It is 10 min drive to the lake and the other town Almodovar Del Rio which also has plenty more bars and restaurants. You can see some pictures on their web site; it is in Spanish but will give you a good idea of the house. All reservations can be made through us. If for less nights it is 66 Euros / 40 Euros. HOTEL MARIA *** This hotel is situated 10 mins drive from the lake road towards Posadas. It offers very comfortable accommodation and all rooms are en suite with air conditioning/ heating. It also has a bar and a restaurant offering lunch and good evening meals, plus use of their pool from Mid May to September. This is the best of the very local hotels but it is situated away from the main town where people tend to socialize at night, hence you will need to drive most nights if you prefer this option or get a taxi. The hotel has 2 parts a original hotel and a new bulding next door. The rooms are similar in what they offer but obviously the new building is slightly more modern, they have a different price for each building : The prices are per room but do not include breakfast: - 59 euros low season 63 euros high season 2 BEDROOM FLATS IN ALMODOVAR DEL RIO These are very nice newly built flats in the center of town (Almodovar Del Rio), which is 5 mins drive from the lake. The flats are fully furnished with 2 bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with (en suite bathroom) and one twin room / 1 family bathroom / dining & lounge / lovely roof terrace and heating & air-conditioning. They also have great views from the bedroom / dining & lounge and roof terrace up to the castle which is amazing at night. These are obviously very convenient for shops and bars / restaurants and mean you would not have to drive in the evenings. All bed linen is provided. Cost per week per flat: 550 Euros per week 4 BEDROOM VILLA IN POSADAS (sleeps up to 10 people) This is a lovely 4-bedroom villa that has recently been renovated with all new furnishings. Situated 5 mins outside the town of Posadas and therefore 15 mins from lake and town of Almodovar Del Rio. The villa has plenty of space with 2 double bedrooms (one ensuite), 1 twin and 1 bedroom with 2 x bunk beds. It also has a family bathroom and an additional shower room with toilet. A fully fitted kitchen, living / dining room with open fire, TV, DVD , Stereo etc. Outside it has a huge terrace area and a pool opposite the terrace, plus plenty of parking.
